Scholarships for Doctoral Studies at the EUI
Scholarship is awarded for a 4-year doctoral (PhD) study at one of the following departments:
- Economy,
- Law,
- History and Civilisation,
- Political and Social Sciences.
Scholarship is awarded for living costs and travel expenses. The Public Scholarship, Development, Disability and Maintenance Fund of the Republic of Slovenia grants the scholarship for 3 years; the last year is financed by EUI.
The amount of scholarship, conditions and criteria are determined in the call for applications. The call for applications also includes the application deadline as well as the requested application documentation.
The call for applications is usually published in December for students starting studies in the following academic year.
The procedure of admission at EUI and the procedure of granting a scholarship by the Fund are separate:
- For admission to doctoral studies at EUI, candidates should apply by the deadline as determined by EUI. More information about the application deadlines is available here.
- For scholarship for study at EUI, candidates should apply by the deadline as set in the call for applications.
